INTRODUCTION: At present there are six colleges conducting Engineering Programmes out of which one in Govt. Sector and five in Private Sector (List of the colleges and courses are under heading) 

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:    The candidate who are desirous of seeking admission in Engineering / Technology courses in the Govt. / Pvt. un-aided Engineering Colleges of  Himachal Pradesh or for nomination to  others State on the seats allotted to Himachal Pradesh (Beneficiary State ) by Govt. of India Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) New  Delhi, if available for the session 2011-2012 should have appeared in AIEEE-2011  conducted by CBSE New Delhi. Selection of candidates for admission shall be made purely on the merit of marks / rank obtained in AIEEE-2011. In case seats remained vacant after exhausting AIEEE Merit, the candidate with PCM subject having 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 shall also be eligible for admission or merit.  The interested candidates may apply to the Principal, Jawahar Lal Nehru Govt. Engineering College Sundernagar  on the prescribed application form  contain in the Prospectus-cum-Information Broucher before 30th June,2010.
