Lateral Entry
AICTE has now allowed 10+2 Science pass candidates for
admission to 2nd year(3rd Semester) Diploma
Courses in Govt. and Private Polytechnics under Lateral Entry
Scheme. Therefore, the candidates desirous of seeking admission
under this scheme may apply on the prescribed application form to
the Principal Govt. Polytechnic Hamirpur till05-08-2011
by 5.00 PM. Desirous candidates shall have to apply on the
prescribed application form alongwith copies of all relevant
certificates and bank draft of Rs. 250/- drawn in the favour of the
Principal, Govt. Polytechnic Hamirpur payable at Hamirpur,
on or before 05-08-2011 and attend the 2nd round of
counseling as per schedule provided in the Lateral Entry Prospectus
– Part II which is commencing from 08-8-2011. The admission to
vacant seats (if any) will be made on the basis of merit of marks
obtained in 10+2 (Science) after exhausting of the merit of eligible
candidates appeared in LEET-2011.
