ADMISSION UNDER LATERAL ENTRY IN DEGREE AND DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION UNDER LATERAL ENTRY IN B.E./B.TECH COURSES:- The candidates shall be admitted directly in 2nd Year(3rd Semester) in Govt/Pvt. engineering colleges in Himachal Pradesh on the merit of marks obtained in Diploma in Engineering/B.Sc.(with Mathematics). The bonafide/domocile Himachali candidates who have passed engineering diploma/BSc with mathematics with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from recognized Board/University shall be eligible for admission under Lateral Entry Scheme. Admission is made only bonafide/domicile Himachali in the ratio of 50:50 from Diploma/B.Sc.

PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION UNDER LATERAL ENTRY IN B.PHARMACY PROGRAMME:- The candidates shall be admitted directly in 2nd Year(3rd Semester) in Govt/Pvt. B.Pharmacy colleges in Himachal Pradesh on the merit of marks obtained in Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Only the bonafide/domocile Himachali candidates shall be eligibile for admission under Lateral Entry Scheme. Note :- the admission procedure can  be changed at the time of admission

PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION UNDER LATERAL ENTRY IN DIPLOMA ENGINEERING COURSES:- Admission under Lateral Entry/Vertical Mobility Scheme in polytechnics shall be made directly in  2nd Year(3rd Semester) in Govt. and Private Polytechnics in the State on the basis of merit of marks obtained in Lateral Entry Test condcuted by H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board Dharamsala for the session 2010-11. The interested candidates may apply to H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board Dharamsla on the prescribed application form  contain in the Prospectus.
