Students desirous of seeking admission to B.Tech and B.Pharma Courses (direct entry to 1st semester and lateral entry to 3rd semester), are informed that AICTE vide Notification No.- 1-MS/AICTE/ 2011 dated 4th July,2011 has revised the entry level qualification for admission in undergraduate programmes (Full Time) under 1.1  of appendix-I in Approval Process Hand Book 2011-12 from 50% to 45% for general category students and from 45% to 40% for reserved category students for admission for the year 2011-12. 

      In view of this, eligible candidates can submit their application forms for B.Pharma Course upto 23rd of July,2011 and for B.Tech Course upto 30th July,2011, 5.00PM at J.N. Govt. Engineering College (Bhechhanadhar, New Campus) Sundernagar, Distt. Mandi(H.P.) 

Regarding clarification shifting of Sciences from H.P. University Shimla:- It is clarified that all the prgrammes relating to Sciences i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics etc. will continue their affiliation with H.P. University, Shimla. The other on-campus Technical Education programmes of H.P. University, Shimla will also continue their affiliation with H.P. University Shimla only. The H.P. Technical University, will affiliate Degree Programmes from the academic session 2011-12 onwards, but any such programmes offered by other State Universities on their campus will not come under the purview of H.P. Technical University.

FOR ENGINEERING (B.E./B. TECH) AND B. PHARMACY  COURSES FOR SESSION 2011-12: Applications on prescribed form are invited from the eligible candidates for admission to Direct Entry and Lateral Entry Scheme including Kashmiri Migrants and All India Quota to B.E./B.Tech and B. Pharmacy Programmes running in Government and Private Un-aided Colleges/Institutions located in Himachal Pradesh State (including nomination to other States, if allotted by the Government of India, MHRD, New Delhi).   

 Separate Prospectus-cum-Information Brochure of B.E/B.Tech and B. Pharmacy will be available after 6.6.2011 on cash payment of Rs. 500/- from the following institutions:-

1.       H.P. Technical University, Camp Office Government Polytechnic, Baru, Hamirpur(HP)

2.       Govt. Polytechnic, Kangra, Ambota, Millennium Chamba and Banikhet

3.       J.N. Govt.  Engineering College Sundernagar, District Mandi (HP)

4.       Government College of Pharmacy,  Rohroo, Distt. Shimla (H.P.)

5.       Govt. I.T.I. Shimla, Rampur, Reckong Peo, Solan, Nalagarh, Nahan, Paonta Sahib, Bilaspur, Mandi, Shamshi, Shahpur, Una and Palampur

         Prospectus  can be downloaded from website www.techeduhp.com. and  application form can be submitted duly filled in accompanied by a bank draft of Rs. 550/- in favour of Finance Officer, Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur payable at Hamirpur.

         The Prospectus can also be obtained by post by making a written request to the Registrar, H.P. Technical University, Hamirpur accompanied by bank draft amounting to Rs. 550/- for all categories drawn in favour of the  Finance Officer, H.P. Technical University, Hamirpur payable at Hamirpur (H.P.).  No request for obtaining the prospectus will be entertained after 20.06.2011.    

Last Date :- The candidate should read the instructions given in the prospectus carefully and submit the application form complete in all respects in the office of the Principal, J.N. Government Engineering College, Sundernagar, District Mandi (H.P.) latest by 30.06.2011 upto 5.00 P.M.
